Tempo

Ontem conversei com Glenn durante muito tempo por telefone. Glenn continua morando nos Estados Unidos e nossa conversa (como sempre) foi intensa e marcada por silêncios cheios de significados. Falamos de nossas vidas, casamentos, e do futuro. Apesar de não nos vermos há 7 anos, permanecemos unidos por um laço incomum. Como o de pai e filho, amigos, irmãos e parceiros. Somos unidos por um amor inabálavel que se mostra resistente ao tempo e à distância.

I couldn't have said it better. However, there is also a deep feeling that people get when they are as close as us. The feeling of helplesness. The yearning to help, hold, and tell the other face to face that everything will be alright. Our lives went in completely different directions; sad but necessary. Why, because I feel that our bond needed to be shared with others(family)...and I have no doubt that one day all of our lives will come together. I can feel it, something is going to happen because there is nothing I want more than to be together again with my best freind, brother....Paulo.
